Catalonia won the Quadrangular International at Boiro, Galicia. The Catalans defeated the hosts by 5.5 matches to 0.5 in Friday's final. Portugal beat Andorra 4-2 in the third place play-off.
Catalonia qualified for the Quadrangular International final after the opening day's play. Catalonia defeated Andorra in the first semi-final.The Galicians and the Portuguese tied their semi-final encounter on Thursday. An 18 holes foursomes play-off on Friday went the way of the home side.
The semi-final line-up was decided by an 18 hole singles strokeplay. Catalonia led the way, followed by Galicia, Portugal and Andorra. Top Catalan lady Abby Nachson produced the best score of the day, a 2 under par 52.
