Liam O'Donovan (Ireland), who was also third in 2004 and second a year ago, returned a final round of 48 to place third on 143, just ahead of 2009 Dutch Open winner and European Strokeplay champion Ian Farrelly (Ireland) on 144. Holder Rolf Kwant (Holland) finished fifth on 145, just edging out Irish Matchplay champion Damien Fleming on the final 18 tiebreaker.
