SWISS INTERNATIONAL SENIORS OPEN - ADVERSE WEATHER FORCES CANCELLATION OF SECOND ROUND
Continuing the climatic theme that has been a regular feature of the 2010 international Pitch and Putt calendar, there was a curtailed finish at St. Moritz. Champion - Miguel Antonio Garrido Fernandez (FCPP)
2nd place - Daniel Serrano Leon (FCPP)
3rd place - Joep van Mourik (NPPB)
Lady Champion - Ruth Lamm (SPPA)
2nd place - Roely Luning (NPPB)
3rd place - Dolors Palahi Senli (FCPP)
Best Swiss - Ueli Lamm (SPPA)

The first round of the tournament was played in wonderful sunny weather on Saturday at St. Moritz. Everybody enjoyed the game and the atmosphere. The overnight leader, Miguel Garrido Fernandez, Catalonia, was five under par with one hole to play. Unfortunately he dropped 2 shots on the last hole but still finished with a very credible 51 and he led by four from fellow Catalan Daniel Serrano.
The leading lady, local player Ruth Lamm (Switzerland) returned a very good result of 2 shots over par. Her 56 was three shots clear of Catalan Dolors Palahi and Dutch lady Roely Luning.
