PPUI National Convention 2014 - Former EPPA Secretary General honoured
John Manning was inducted into the Pitch and Putt Union of Ireland Hall of Fame on 22 February. The former EPPA Secretary General and FIPPA Assistant Secretary General received the accolade at National Convention in the Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise. John is the 28th recipient of this honour. The citation read:
For his dedication to the game of Pitch and Putt. For his outstanding contribution to the development of F.I.P.P.A and E.P.P.A. and his promotion of the game Worldwide. For his brilliant editing and production of Backspin and the P.P.U.I. year books. For his knowledge of historical facts on the game of Pitch and Putt. For his excellent work as P.R.O. reporting on the game of Pitch and Putt. For his efforts in securing several Sponsorship deals. For being always courteous and helpful. For being a Gentleman.
The P.P.U.I. Hall of Fame Award goes to John Manning (Shandon).
