SAN MARINO OPEN 2006

The fourth San Marino Pitch & Putt Open was held on the Cesenatico course on 24-25 June 2006. Players from across Europe attended this popular event.
Irishman, Alan Hanlon, picked up another international title when he claimed victory in this years event with a commanding performance at the Cesenatico course, winning by three strokes from local players, Angelo Fusco and Giulio Caramaschi.

Alan scored 154, ahead of Angelo's 159 and Giulio's 163. The best local performance was put in by the 3rd finishing Caramashi.
The Ladies division was won by Ireland's Liz Quinn with a 168 whilst World Cup player Fabrizzio Frassoldati,of Italian club Real, added to his growing list of Seniors titles when he took the Seniors honours with a 177.
Diletta Marisaldi of Argenta won the Junior division with a 191.
