In 2005 a new dimension in the evolution of Pitch and Putt took place when 8 teams from around the world agreed to form a global interclub league that allowed the teams to play at home and compare scores against their opponents internationally.The competition was an instant success with a nailbiting finish seeing an internet based club from the Netherlands, the NPPV, taking the inaugural honours from Catalan champions, Sant Cebria.
Entries for the 2006 season are still welcome with over 30 teams expected to compete in this years version of this unique interclub competition.
