Course of the Month - Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver, Canada.

This is an 18 hole course which was opened in 1962 and which is the highest Pitch and Putt layout in Vancouver!

Queen Elizabeth Park is known as 'Little Mountain' because it sits atop the geographical high point and centre of Vancouver proper. One of Vancouver's most famous tourist attractions, Queen Elizabeth Park is the second most visited park in Vancouver.

Enter off 37th Ave for free parking and the opportunity to sample Queen Elizabeth Park Pitch and Putt course, which offers beautiful city vistas in the midst of unique trees like the Ginkgo. These beautiful broad-leaf deciduous trees provide ample shade in the summer months and transitions to a brilliant gold in the fall, adding to the spectacular scenery in the park.

The 18 short, contoured par 3s (none over 100 metres), are set along a course where there are few hazards in play, making this a perfect course for those new to the game. But it's still fun for those with more experience.

Open from February through November with a host of activities including day camps, mini tournaments as well as facilities for corporate functions, this beautiful course is sure to please the most discerning visitor.

Located practically city centre, Queen Elizabeth Park is Vancouver's horticultural jewel. Within its perimeters are some of the most beautiful public gardens anywhere. Its recreational offerings are diverse ranging from sporty to horticultural.
