Course of the Month - Glanville Hall, Adelaide, Australia.

Glanville is a north-western Adelaide suburb on the LeFevre Peninsula.

Situated a short distance from the ocean, the Glanville Hall Pitch and Putt course is the only course of its type in the western suburbs of Adelaide. The course is a member of Pitch and Putt community (the South Australia Pitch and Putt Association) and is one of the oldest Par 3 courses in Australia.

On a given weekend you might find players taking their first swing, alongside elite players engaged in a competition against opponents located on the other side of the world. The Glanville course is a true players course - operated by the players for the players.

Glanville Hall course has a strong involvement in the World and Australian Interclub Leagues, and other Pitch and Putt events.

In November 2009 this course will host the Australian Nine Hole Championship, an integral part of The Australian Triple Crown. One of Adelaide’s oldest courses, Glanville Hall, a picturesque links course with historic backdrops will give visitors of all standards much pleasure.

The fifth hole is a very large split level green, 90 metres long into the prevailing southerly wind. Players in the Triple Crown will be tested by this hole.
